Arguments and discussions in WP:AFD, article talk pages, or really pretty much anywhere there is a discussion about the content or application of any Wikipedia policy, guideline, or issue should be clear. Confusing arguments mean nothing. Failure to make your points with clarity in any discussion can lead to it being ignored.

This page is not an encyclopedia article, nor is it one of Wikipedia's policies or guidelines, as it has not been thoroughly vetted by the community. Editors should, as much as is possible, work to understand each other. When an argument is not clear, be bold and ask for clarification. If someone asks you for clarification, provide it without regret. Asking for clarification is not uncivil: it actually is a good faith move in an attempt to make Wikipedia better and to value your comments and point of view fairly and completely.

However, it is reasonable for any argument that is considered unclear or even gibberish to be ignored.
