Welcome to the Dutch municipalities task force
Scope

This task force aims to improve the quality and maintain the consistency for articles regarding Dutch municipalities. This does not only include municipalities, but also other civil divisions, including cities, towns, villages, hamlets, sections of municipalities, and neighborhoods. Please see the talk page for the current discussion about this task force.

Goals
  1. Tag all populated places in the Netherlands. (more info)
  2. Include/update a location box for all municipal articles. (info, status) Completed 13 June 2013!
  3. Update the infobox for all municipal articles. (info, status) Completed 24 July 2014!
  4. Increase the quality of the articles within the scope of this task force.

Articles

This task force covers all articles concerning municipalities and its divisions, including cities, towns, villages, hamlets, sections of municipalities and neighborhoods in the Netherlands. This task force is meant to administer certain work on these articles, in particular to improve the quality and maintain the consistency between articles. Note that you are welcome to help whether or not you feel yourself a member of the task force and that any improvement to these articles is increasing Wikipedia's coverage of Dutch municipalities. Whether you are interested in these articles in general, one particular article in specific or a subtopic within each article, some of the resources provided might be of use to you.

In particular take note of the following:

  • Assessment – Lists an overview of all the articles that have been tagged within the scope of this task force and explains how to bring other articles within the realm of this task force.
  • Structure – Provides guidance on the structure to be used for articles within the scope of Dutch municipalities task force.
