This group includes within its scope all articles related to Guatemala, its cities, geography, transportation, culture, history and so on. It aims to expand Wikipedia's resources on Guatemala in a fair and accurate manner. All of these articles should be contained within the Category:Guatemala or one of its subcategories.
- Promote the project
- Join this project! Add yourself to the list, and add the userbox to your page, to advertise the project to people who happen to pass by.
- Invite people to the project – drop a note on the user talk page of editors working on Guatemala topics who aren't project members.
- Consider promoting the project via the Wikipedia Signpost WikiProject desk.
- Improve the project
- Update the project pages, archive clutter, and make use of the latest automation available
- Consult the WikiProject Guide for ideas
- Come up with new ones
- Use the project
- Monitor discussions on talk pages of articles covered by the project. Recent changes to the project's talk pages
- Create a new article.
- Translate or expand articles from Spanish Wikipedia.
- Expand some of the articles (check out Category:Guatemala stubs or some of its subcategories), always respecting Wikipedia's Neutral Point of View Policy. Also, check the Wikipedia: Manual of Style.
- Add references to articles which need referencing improving. Biographies of living persons are a particular priority.
- Assess some of the Unassessed Guatemala articles, using the criteria at Wikipedia:WikiProject_Guatemala#Assessment. Update the project banner on the relevant talk page.
- Check the talk page for requests for help.

- Álvaro Arzú. Former president of Guatemala. He is a deceased notable politician among Guatemalan politicians. It would be nice if it was at least Good Article class. Thinker78 (talk) 17:48, 21 June 2022 (UTC)
- Jorge Ubico is universally known in Guatemala even though he was a despot who died in the 1940s. This article currently is Start or C class. Given the importance of the topic it should be Good Article. Thinker78 (talk) 16:33, 21 September 2022 (UTC)
