Wikipedia:WikiProject Mongols

Welcome to WikiProject Mongols! This group wants to help coordinate the work on articles related to Mongol culture, history and language, irrespective of citizenship and provide a platform from which this can be done.

Scope

This project includes in its scope all articles related to Mongols: their culture, politics, history, and languages (i.e., the Mongolic languages). This includes linguistic Mongolians, e.g. the Mongols mainly living in the Mongolian state, Inner Mongolia and Dzungaria in China, Buryatia and Kalmykia in Russia who can linguistically interact with each other, as well as the affiliated Dagurs, Mongols further dispersed to the south such as Monguor, Santa, Bonan and Kangjia in the east of Qinghai lake, Mongol Uyghurs in its north and the isolated Moghols in western Afghanistan. It aims to expand Wikipedia's resources on Mongols in a reliable, but independent manner. All articles in its scope should be contained within the Category:Mongols or one of its subcategories.
