Welcome to WikiProject Somaliland! This WikiProject is designed to provide a centralized place for Wikipedians interested in Somaliland and its related topics to gather for discussion on relevant announcements and ways to better the coverage of Somaliland on Wikipedia. If you believe in this goal and would like to help out, please watchlist this page and add your name to the participants list below. All editors who would like to join are welcome!
Scope
The scope of this WikiProject includes all articles related to Somaliland; it's cities, geography, transportation, culture, history and so on. We aim to expand Wikipedia's resources and coverage on Somaliland in a fair and accurate manner. All pages within this scope should be contained within Category:Somaliland or one of its subcategories, and should be tagged with the code {{WikiProject Somaliland}} on the page's talkpage.

Recognition
To award another user for their efforts, you don't need to be an admin! Awards such as Barnstars can be placed on users talk pages to recognize them for their work, which makes both the giving and receiving users happy. While giving multiple awards to the same user may devalue it's worth, it is encouraged to still recognize those who have committed considerable effort towards bettering the WikiProject or improving the coverage of Somaliland and its related topics on Wikipedia as a whole by giving them an award. Below are examples of the awards most often given in relation to this project, with the last one being specifically WikiProject Somaliland related.
