Introduction

The WikiProject World Heritage Sites was first suggested by User:Hdt83, and support grew over some time. The WikiProject World Heritage Sites supports all articles on World Heritage Sites.

Scope

Goals

To maintain and improve articles on World Heritage Listed Sites.

Tasks

  • Add articles to the Wikipedia:WikiProject World Heritage Sites/Articles page by category.
  • Check on vandalism, improvements, and other changes to these articles with the recent changes function.
  • Ensure that both the Category:Unknown-importance World Heritage Sites articles and Category:Unassessed World Heritage Sites articles are empty.
  • Suggest ways in which Stub and Start-Class articles can be improved.

Jane (talk) 05:53, 23 July 2011 (UTC) I created the WP:WLM project to spread awareness and also as an attempt to fix up the Eurozone infrastructure on these articles before September on participating language projects (fr/de/nl/pl/ru, to name the biggies). Theoretically, all participating language projects should (at least!) have (stubs for) all of the world heritage site articles of all the other participating countries. Starting with English, I am trying to get the "list of WHS per country" created which includes the country's nominated sites, since those are presumeably the top national ones that we need articles and pictures for.

Assessment

Collaboration

Every so often, possibly each week or fortnight, we will select an article which is in need of improvement, and collaborate to improve it, if possible, to a B-Class article. You do not need to be a member to suggest a World Heritage Sites article — if you see an article in need of attention, bring it here, and suggest it for improvement. If there is enough support from members, and if enough members are willing to support it, it would become a collaboration, the time of length depending on the article. Simply add an article using a hash (#) to the list below.

  1. Jesuit Missions of Chiquitos - This article is currently peer reviewed to be nominated at WP:FAC later. Most of the issues raised in the review have been addressed. It would be great if somebody could help with the remaining two. bamse (talk) 06:16, 20 August 2009 (UTC)
