Do we refer to characters by first name or by last name?

For years and years, I have seen it where if we are only using one name for a character, we have used only the last name and not the first name. For example, we aren't going to say "Tony Stark" over and over in the Iron Man article, so we will use just one of his names when referring to his civilian identity. The article had therefore said "Stark" when referring to him by his real name, but User:PanagiotisZois changed these instances to "Tony" instead today, stating in an edit summary "Fictional characters mostly use common name, unlike real people. If using the character's civilian identity rather than superhero persona, the first name should be used." So what is the correct way to handle this situation? BOZ (talk) 15:18, 31 January 2024 (UTC)

Per MOS:SURNAME, "For fictional entities, use common names. For example, Jason, Luigi, and Wesker." This requires some judgment in context -- Chandler Bing would be Chandler, but Steve Urkel would be Urkel and Charlie Brown would be Charlie Brown. Applying that to comics can require judgment and knowledge -- J Jonah Jameson calls Peter Parker "Parker", but basically everyone else calls him "Peter", so that should be leaned on. Whether that applies to Stark is an open question, although it does help to separate the man from the company "Tony invented the nuclear whiz-bang, which was manufactured by Stark." -- Nat Gertler (talk) 15:57, 31 January 2024 (UTC)

Could I get help with creating the Arkhamverse articles for Batman, Joker, and Harley Quinn? All are in some of the most famous video game moments of all-time. I need help with citations. ShirtNShoesPls (talk) 00:30, 3 February 2024 (UTC)

ShirtNShoesPls, before you begin creating an article, you need to find sources about the characters. Not sources about the games that mention the characters, but actually about the character itself. If you can't find any, then the character probably isn't important enough to have a Wikipedia article. Thebiguglyalien (talk) 00:51, 3 February 2024 (UTC)

Help translating

I recently created in the Spanish Wikipedia an article about Jill Jerold, the first black female character to appear in a Marvel Comics publication. It would be appreciated if this were translated into English.

Is the Enchantress a superhero?

you know when edit the Enchantress right, it's true that she is a hero because aided Thor on numerous occasions and helped Asgard, check her marvel database, it's on there, you'll find her comics when she was a supporting character/protagonist Nick De Almeida (talk) 11:26, 16 March 2024 (UTC)

Helping Thor occasionally does not make her a superhero. She is primarily an enemy of Thor, so she is not a superhero. BOZ (talk) 16:01, 16 March 2024 (UTC)
That isn’t the only reason, she even joined the Asgardian Heroes to stop the war of surtur and she aids Asgard against Seth Nick De Almeida (talk) 16:04, 16 March 2024 (UTC)
Helping other good guys on occasion does not make her a superhero either. If she completely gives up being an adversary at some point to devote herself to being a good guy, then maybe she could be considered a hero. BOZ (talk) 16:07, 16 March 2024 (UTC)
But still, she’s kind of a antiheroine like Loki, think of it as this way, and antiheroes are not only supervillains, but superheroes too Nick De Almeida (talk) 16:10, 16 March 2024 (UTC)
