Yishui County (simplified Chinese: 沂水县; traditional Chinese: 沂水縣; pinyin: Yíshuǐ Xiàn) is a county of south-central Shandong province, People's Republic of China, Located in the central and southern region of Shandong, in the hinterland of Yimeng Mountain, situated in the upper reaches of the Yi River and Shu River. Yishui County has a long history, with primitive social relics scattered throughout the area.The Nanwa Cave site in the late Paleolithic period unearthed stone tools and deer antler fossils.Fine stone tools were discovered at 21 locations including the top of the dry cave; 35 Neolithic sites, including Guziding and Fengtai, have unearthed stone, bone, and pottery from the Dawenkou and Longshan cultures. In these sites, relics from the Xia and Shang dynasties were also unearthed.There are 43 open scenic spots above 2A level, including 1 5A level and 5 4A level.

Yishui County belongs to the warm temperate monsoon climate zone. It is characterized by a remarkable continental climate: the four seasons change distinctly.^[8]
