Private crewed spaceflight to the International Space Station in 2024


Axiom Mission 4 (or Ax-4) is a private spaceflight to the International Space Station. The flight will be launched on October 2024 and will last 14 days. It is operated by Axiom Space and used a SpaceX Crew Dragon spacecraft.[1][2]

The flight will take off from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida, using the Falcon 9 launcher.

The flight is in collaboration with NASA and will be the fourth flight of Axiom Space after Axiom Mission 1, Axiom Mission 2 and Axiom Mission 3.[3]

Crew

The flight crew will include veteran astronaut Peggy Whitson and three more astronauts who have not yet been determined. It is known that one of the team members will be the winner of the "Space Hero" reality show. In addition, the team is expected to include a Hungarian astronaut[4] and a Polish astronaut.[5][6]
