Apollo 17 Hasselblad image from film magazine 147/A - Rev12, EVA-1
This photo was used in Figure 5-2 of the Apollo 17 Preliminary Science Report (SP-330, 1973), which has the following caption:

The valley of Taurus-Littrow as seen from the lunar module Challenger on the orbit before powered descent. The command and service module America can be seen crossing the base of the 2300-m-high South Massif. At its narrowest point between the South and North Massifs, the valley is 7 km wide. Mare Serenitatis is on the horizon.
