Summary
Description Cevri Kalfa School DSCF2037.jpg |
English:
Cevri Kalfa School, built in Empire style under Mahmud II in 1819. Located on Divan Yolu Street. It was used (not sure when) as one of the first schools for girls in Istanbul. There's a fountain on the far right of this picture, and the building extends further to the right beyond this frame (unfortunately I didn't take a wider picture).
