English: Cherryburn, the birthplace of Thomas Bewick. Thomas Bewick (1753-1828) is reckoned to be Northumberland's greatest artist, wood engraver and naturalist. 779867 , the later home of the Bewick family, houses an exhibition on Bewick's life and work.
