Built by: M/S Neue Ruhrorter Schiffswerft Gmbh, Duisburg. The project planning and section construction of the newbuilding had been carried out in Germany in accordance with the rules of Germanischer Lloyd. Assembling works in Tanzania started in November 2007 at the Tanzanian shipyard specially founded for this purpose.
