Description
English: A German 7.7 cm FK 96 n.A. field gun on display in the Australian War Memorial's main Western Front gallery in August 2012. This gun was captured by troops led by Major Blair Wark during the attack on the Hindenburg Line on 29 September 1918. Wark was awarded a Victoria Cross for his role in this offensive.
