Inhibition_schematic_(reversible).svg

Summary

Description
English: Schematics for reversible inhibition. Competitive inhibitors bind to the active site, non-competitive to a remote (allosteric) site, uncompetitive inhibitors only bind once the substrate is bound, disrupting catalysis either fully, and mixed inhibition only does so partially. Binding site in blue, substrate in black, inhibitor in green, and allosteric site in light green.
