Quan Am in the sanctuary of the But Thap pagoda. The statue with Quan Am’s 1,000 arms & 1,000 eyes represents the Bodhissattva Avalokiteshvara.

The But Thap pagoda (Ninh-Phuc) rises in the "Dinh To" village, 30 km southeast of Hanoi. It was erected in C.E.1646-1647 by the Chinese monk Minh Hanh. It has several buildings, 4 of which are surrounded by a perimeter wall. The buildings are connected by galleries.
