Description Male Chaffinch.jpg |
English:
A more colourful visitor to my back yard than the usual jackdaws and rooks. One of Britains most abundant birds there were approximately 7 million breeding pairs in 1991, though the use of pesticides in gardens and farmland has seen a reduction in their numbers in recent years.
