English: On December 18, 1970, the Baneberry underground nuclear test at the Nevada Test Site released radioactivity to the atmosphere. Baneberry had a yield of ten kilotons. It was buried about 900 feet beneath the surface of Yucca Flat, near the northern boundary of the NTS
Français : Le 18 décembre 1970, le test nucléaire souterrain Baneberry, au site de test du Nevada à laisser s'échapper de la radioactivité dans l'atmosphère. Baneberry avait une puissance de dix kilotonnes . Il était enterré à environ 275 mètres sous la surface de la plaine du Yucca, proche de la bordure Nord du NTS.
