Summary

Description

মহাবিশ্বের বাইরে থেকে দৃশ্য মহাবিষুব ও (মেরু)অক্ষীয় (equinox) অয়নচলন (Precession) of the as seen from 'outside' the celestial dome. The shift of the Earth's polar axis over 5000 year among the stars (orange: 3000 BC at Thuban, yellow: 2000 AD at Polaris) goes together with a shift of the equatorial planes and therefore the equinoxes along the ecliptic.

It is important to note that this image is not a perspective that appears in nature, as the locations of the stars are projections onto the celestial sphere only as they appear from Earth.
