Paraceratherium-Scale-Diagram-SVG-Steveoc86.svg

Summary

Description
English: A scale chart comparing the estimated size for the largest Paraceratherium remains to some humans.
Paraceratherium redrawn from Larramendi 2016 (Appendix 1, AG). There are no complete Paraceratherium specimens, and the largest individuals are known from fragmentary remains (AMNH 26168/75). Therefore, there is some uncertainty as to the estimated body size. [1] Paraceratherium has been illustrated here with a small proboscis , suggested by its retracted nasal openings. [2]
• Humans scaled to 170 cm (5 ft 7 in) and 160 cm (5 ft 3 in) respectively.
