Description
English: A ramp across a street in the back of the mosque, so to the east, has an entry of its own that was for the Sultan to reach the private loge in the New Mosque, called the hünkâr mahfili, screened off by a gilded grill so he and his party would be shielded from the public gaze. It has been well-restored and often is open to the public, free of charge. Along the ramp there a regularly expositions of all kinds. The quarters are full of fine tiles and woodwork in a classical style.
