English:
Throne dais of Shalmaneser III from the throne room at Fort Shalmaneser, Nimrud, Mesopotamia, Iraq. The sides are decorated (in reliefs) with various tributary scenes and the upper surface is carved with floral motifs and cuneiform text. Found in 1962. The dais was completed around 846-845 BCE (Shalmaneser III's 13th year of reign). It is on display in the Iraq Museum, Baghdad.
