Command Module
CM-011A, in the Apollo program exhibit on
USS
Hornet
in Alameda, California. This command module was used in
AS-202
, an unmanned test flight, after which it was recovered by
Hornet
. The damage on the lower edge was caused by the capsule's subsequent use in a drop test. The spacesuited figure to the left is approximately life-sized.
