English: PACIFIC OCEAN (Nov. 24, 2008) F/A-18C Hornets assigned to the "Stingers" of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 113 launch from the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76). All fixed winged aircraft assigned to Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 14 departed Ronald Reagan to return to homeport after a six-month deployment, aiding in Operation Enduring Freedom, an operation which gave support to ground troops in Afghanistan.
