The 1788 Virginia gubernatorial election was held on 30 November 1788 in order to elect the Governor of Virginia. Former Independent member of the Virginia House of Delegates Beverley Randolph defeated former Anti-Federal Governor Benjamin Harrison V in a Virginia General Assembly vote.[1]
