The 2002 Spanish motorcycle Grand Prix was the third round of the 2002 MotoGP Championship. It took place on the weekend of 3–5 May 2002 at the Circuito de Jerez.

Notes

  1. McCoy and McWilliams both received a 5 second penalty added to their race time for overtaking under yellow flags.
  2. Biaggi was punished with the black flag for ignoring a stop and go penalty after a jump start.
  3. Poggiali was excluded from the race results for riding in an irresponsible manner.
