Fujian Smart Hero moved to the city of Shijiazhuang and changed their name to Shijiazhuang Yongchang Junhao in December 2012.[1]

Harbin Songbei Yiteng changed their name to Harbin Yiteng.

Foreign players

Restricting the number of foreign players strictly to three per CL1 team. A team could use three foreign players on the field each game. Players came from Hong Kong, Macau and Chinese Taipei were deemed as native players in CL1.

Rules for classification: 1) points; 2) goal difference; 3) number of goals scored; 4) head-to-head goals scored; 5) goal difference; 6) goals scored; 7) disciplinary points (1 point for each yellow card, 3 points for each red card). Head-to-Head: Only used at the end of the season when two or more teams need the head-to-head rules to break a tie.
