Abbasabad District (Persian: بخش عباس‌آباد) is a former administrative division of Tonekabon County, Mazandaran province, Iran. Its capital was the city of Abbasabad.[3]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 45,589 in 12,694 households.[2]

After the census, the district was separated from the county in the establishment of Abbasabad County, which was divided into two districts of two rural districts each, with the city of Abbasabad as its capital.[4]
