Adam Azim (Dhivehi: އާދަމް އާޒިމް; born 17 December 1971) is a Maldivian politician who is currently serving as the Mayor of Malé since 22 January 2024.

Career

Adam Azim is the incumbent Mayor of Malé, the capital of the Maldives.[1][2] He also served as the Chief executive officer of Maldives Transport and Contracting Company.[3] Azim also served as the Managing Director of State Trading Organization.[4][5]

Mayoral Elections 2024

On 14 January 2024, Azim was elected as the Mayor of Malé defeating People's National Congress's candidate, Azima Shakoor with a vote of 7,621.[6][7]
