Alor Kole (transl.In The Lap Of Night) is a 2023 Indian Bengali-language romantic supernatural drama television series that premiered 27 November 2023 on Zee Bangla. The series is produced by Ideas Creations. It stars Swikriti Majumder, Rishita Nandi, Somu Sarkar and Koushik Roy in lead roles. It is an official remake of the Tamil TV series Yaaradi Nee Mohini.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9]

Plot

Aditya's first wife Alo dies and his daughter Pupul considers him to be Alo's murderer. Alo's soul has not got salvation and she is wandering in the Sen Mansion and protects Pupul at every turn. Aditya's stepmother Indira wants to remarry him and she chooses her friend Parvati's daughter Megha to marry Aditya but Megha wants to marry him only to take revenge on Alo. Meanwhile, Radha, a girl from Navadeep, saves Pupul several times and stays at the Sen Mansion as a guest. Then Aditya agrees for marriage with Megha for the sake of Pupul. After many difficulties, Alo, Radha, and Pupul are successful in cancelling the marriage. Finally, Aditya marries Radha under pressure of Alo but he says that he is unable to accept her as his wife, since Aditya only loves Alo. The show progresses with Radha, Aditya and Pupul's bond as they overcome many hurdles, with help from Alo. But still no one knows about Megha's ill mind except Alo and Radha. So, Radha goes to Navadeep in order to gather evidence against Megha. But, there Megha captures her drown her into a river. But Aditya's uncle Ajay, who lives separated saves Radha. Finally Basundhara and others accepts Radha and Bashundhara and Ajay reunites. Then everyone came to know about Megha's truth and she was arrested, but Indira saves her. Then Megha attempts to kill Aditya by pushing him from a roof. As a result, Aditya becomes paralysed. Finally, Alo gets salvation, but before that Pupul could see and touch her for the last time.
