The Allmusic review by Scott Yanow stated: "Singer Annie Ross' first solo album after joining Lambert, Hendricks & Ross finds her at the peak of her powers. ...all the selections are quite rewarding and her interplay with baritonist Mulligan is consistently memorable."[3]
