The arrondissement of Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne is an arrondissement of France in the Savoie department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. It has 53 communes.[2] Its population is 43,091 (2016), and its area is 1,976.0 km2 (762.9 sq mi).[3] The area corresponds to the former province of Maurienne.

History

The arrondissement of Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne was created in 1860.[4]
