William Holsey Carson (born 1 August 1955) is an American actor and musician most famous in Finland.

After arriving in Rauma in 1980 as a drummer in Charles Williams's band, Carson joined various Finnish bands, including The Dogs, Madame George and Jukka Tolonen's jazz band, as well as his own group Buffalo Soldiers. He also played with Grace Jones and Phil Lynott.[1][better source needed]

As an actor, Carson rose to fame in Finland in the late 1980s, appearing in Yle series Hymyhuulet. He became known as waiter Samuel Livingstone Matabele in the series Hyvät Herrat.[2] He also worked on Radio City, Finland's largest commercial music station.

After withdrawing from the public eye, Carson returned to the United States and reportedly lives in California.[3]
