It is one of 12 parishes (administrative divisions) in Carreño, a municipality within the province and autonomous community of Asturias, in northern Spain.^[1] Situated at 39 m (128 ft) above sea level, it is 2.21 km² (0.85 sq mi) in size, with a population of 6500 (INE 2009). The postal code is 33430.^[2]
