American artist

Carol Schwartzott (born 1945, New York City)[1] is an American book artist. Her work is in the National Museum of Women in the Arts (NMWA),[2] Rutgers University Special Collections,[3] the Smithsonian American Art Museum,[1] the University of Puget Sound Collins Library,[4] the University of Louisville,[5] the University of Southern California Special Collections,[6] the University of Wisconsin–Madison,[7] and the Walker Art Center,[8]

Schwartzott's work was included in the 1994 exhibition Inky Fingers at the Center for Book Arts,[9] as well as the online exhibition The Book as Art: Accordion Adaptations at NMWA.[10]
