Cheilobarbus, commonly known as sawfins,[1] is a genus of fish in the family Cyprinidae endemic to the Western Cape region in South Africa.

There are two species:[2]

Both species are tetraploid, like Pseudobarbus redfins, from which they were separated.[3]
