British comedy act


Flo & Joan (or Flo and Joan, a name they took from their grandmother and her sister) are an English comedy music act consisting of sisters, Rosie and Nicola Dempsey.[1] The act generally consists of comedy songs.[2][1] Flo & Joan have been featured on BBC One's Live at the Apollo, Stamptown Comedy Night[3] and Off Menu podcast.[4] In 2018, they were featured in a Nationwide building society television advert.[5][6] They grew up in Portsmouth, lived in Toronto for a few years,[7][5][8] and as of February 2019, now live in London.[9]
