Ginalina is a Canadian folk music singer, songwriter, children's musician, and children's author.[1]

Her music has received three Juno Awards nominations,[2] four Canadian Folk Music Awards nominations,[3] and two Western Canadian Music Awards.[4] She sings in English, French, and Mandarin,[5] and her children's song, "Small But Mighty," was featured as part of the CBC Music in the Classroom Challenge among 25 Canadian musicians.[6] She has appeared in festivals including international children's festivals,[7] Folk on the Rocks, Festival du Bois, Bella Coola Music Festival, and Mariposa Folk Festival. Ginalina's music videos have been aired on Universal Kids' "Get Up and Move,"[12] Kidoodle.TV in the Canada and United States[13] as well as on the Knowledge Network.[14] Books by Ginalina include The Mighty River (2020, Peppermint Toast Publishing), which was recommended by Canadian Geographic [15] and Kirkus Reviews [16], the award-winning sequel, The Lively Forest (2021, Peppermint Toast Publishing),[15] [16] and the final book in the nature trilogy, The Blooming Mountain (2022, Peppermint Toast Publishing).[17]
