The area is part of the traditional region of Lower Carniola and is now included in the Southeast Slovenia Statistical Region.[2] Hamlets of the village includes Dolnji Grič, which comprises the village core, and Gornji Grič,[3] as well as Vidoše (in older sources Vidoši[4]) and Kralji.
