The International Development Innovation Network (IDIN) is a global network led by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) D-Lab. It is funded by the United States Agency for International Development and the US Global Development Lab.

History

IDIN was established in 2007 as a project of the MIT D-Lab. It is a network of over seven hundred innovators in 57 countries who engage in annual summits known as International Development Design Summits (IDDS). The inaugural International Development Design Summit was organized by the MIT D-Lab in 2007.[1]

Grants and fundings

IDIN offers microgrants[2][3][4][5] and training grants[6] to innovators developing projects for technological solutions aimed at improving the livelihoods of people worldwide.
