Jany Martínez-Ward (born June 1, 1987) is a Cuban-American attorney, businesswoman and advocate for displaced immigrants.

Early Life and Education

Martínez-Ward graduated from Barbara Goleman Senior High School. She completed dual Bachelor's degrees in psychology and Spanish literature from University of Florida.[citation needed] Martínez-Ward pursued her Juris Doctorate at Nova Southeastern University School of Law, graduating in 2012.[1][2]

Career

After graduating in 2012, Martínez-Ward, alongside her husband, established The Ward Law Group.[3] The firm practices personal injury law and specifically assists the Hispanic community.[4][5][6] In 2018, The National Trial Lawyers Association recognized Jany as one of the top attorneys in the state and among the top 40 under 40 attorneys.[7]

Social and Charitable Contributions

In 2022, she joined the board of the I Have a Dream Foundation, providing funds for college scholarships.[8] Martínez-Ward also supported The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's fundraising program.[9]
