Jesse P. Abramson (March 3, 1904 – June 11, 1979) was an American sports writer.[1]

Biography

Abramson was the founder of the New York Track Writers Association.[2] Jesse Abramson Award is named after him.[2]

Between 1924 and 1964, Abramson wrote for the New York Herald Tribune.[3] In 1976, he was a press liaison for the Olympic Committee of the United States.[4]
