Jordan King (born March 2, 2001) is an American college basketball player for the Richmond Spiders of the Atlantic 10 Conference. He previously played for the Siena Saints and the East Tennessee State Buccaneers.

High school career

King attended Christian Brothers Academy in Albany, New York.[1] As a senior, he averaged over 24 points per game, before committing to play college basketball at Siena College.[2]

College career

As a freshman at Siena, King appeared in 30 games, averaging 4.7 points per game.[3] His production increased the following season, as he averaged 12.2 points per game, before entering the transfer portal.[4][5]

On June 9, 2021, King announced that he would be transferring to East Tennessee State University to play for the East Tennessee State Buccaneers.[6]In his first season with East Tennessee State, he averaged 14.6 points per game while shooting 42.9% from three-point range.[7] The following season, in a game against The Citadel in January 2023, King scored a career-high 42 points in a 96–74 rout.[8] He finished the year averaging 15.6 points and 3.6 rebounds per game before entering the transfer portal for a second time.[9]

In April 2023, King announced that he would be transferring to the University of Richmond to play for the Richmond Spiders.[10][11] In his Richmond debut, King scored 34 points, helping lead Richmond to a 93–75 victory.[12]
