Rural district in Gilan province, Iran


Khoshabar Rural District (Persian: دهستان خوشابر)[3] is in the Central District of Rezvanshahr County, Gilan province, Iran.[4] Its capital is the village of Shankavar.[5]

At the National Census of 2006, its population was 13,354 in 3,351 households.[6] There were 13,983 inhabitants in 3,998 households at the following census of 2011.[7] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 14,468 in 4,564 households. The most populous of its 40 villages was Punel, with 2,892 people.[2]
