Khotbeh Sara (Persian: خطبه سرا)[lower-alpha 1] is a village in, and the capital of, Khotbeh Sara Rural District of Kargan Rud District, Talesh County, Gilan province, Iran.[4]

At the 2006 census, the village population was 273 in 67 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 416 people in 125 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 651 people in 215 households.[2]
