Former rural district in Mazandaran province, Iran


Kuhdasht Rural District (Persian: دهستان كوهدشت)[3] is a former administrative division of the former Miandorud District of Sari County, Mazandaran province, Iran. Its capital was Surak.[4]

At the National Census of 2006, its population was 20,601 in 5,213 households.[2]

After the census, the district was separated from the county in the establishment of Miandorud County. The rural district's name was changed to Kuhdasht-e Sharqi Rural District when it joined the new Kuhdasht-e Gharbi Rural District in the Central District.[4]
