Lotfabad (Persian: لطف آباد, also romanized as Loţfābād and Lutfābād; formerly, Bāba Jām)[3] is a city in, and the capital of, Lotfabad District of Dargaz County, Razavi Khorasan province, Iran.[4] On the Iran-Turkmenistan border, it is the site of an official crossing point to Turkmenistan.

At the 2006 census, its population was 1,897 in 570 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 1,790 people in 540 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,865 people in 605 households.[2]
