Mary Ann Winkowski is a television personality whose paranormal experiences are the basis for CBS's Ghost Whisperer, on which she was also a paid producer. She currently resides in North Royalton, Ohio. Winkowski is often paid to attend funerals to help relatives have one last conversation with a loved one. Her books include As Alive, So Dead (ISBN 1-929309-07-4) and When Ghosts Speak (ISBN 978-0-446-58118-9).There have been things said by the actor Jamie Kennedy of Ghost Whisperer. He said, "I really don't believe in all this ghost stuff. I'm just happy to be paid." Winkowski and Kennedy have what Kennedy calls a "Battle of the Ghosts."^[1][2]
