- Ismail was elected to Parliament in the Kuala Trengganu Selatan by-election, 1962 following the death of Onn Jaafar of Parti Negara.
- Chan was elected to Parliament in the Kampar by-election, 1960 following the disqualification of Leong Kee Nyean.
