Guzy’s travels to places such as Kenya and Morocco have been featured on Bravo TV.^[5][6] Guzy is an advocate for sustainable living. She speaks at industry travel events, such as at TBEX,^[7] and has appeared on television networks across the country, such as WCBS in New York.

Her travels have been included in media outlets, such as Highways magazine.^[8]

Guzy is an adjunct professor at New York University School of Professional Studies, where she teaches a course called, "Travel Storytelling: Creating Video Content".

In her award-winning series, “OH THE PEOPLE YOU MEET with Michaela Guzy”,^[9][10] she curates the local hosts she believes travelers should meet when visiting - from local chefs, designers and artists, to her award-winning film featuring Dr. Jane Goodall.^[11] Her show has appeared on American Airlines in-flight, KTLA^[12] and Thrive Global. Seasons 1 and 2 are currently in-flight on Qatar Airways,^[13] KTLA+^[14] and Modern Luxury Media's streaming service,^[15] M/LUX, on Vizio, Roku, Fire and Apple TV in the USA.

Guzy was born in Missouri where she was raised before graduating from Spring Hill College.^[16]
